Rocking music since the 1980s
Phish stand for a lot – from their musical genius and absolute excellent jam sessions to their die-hard fan base who travel all around the world to support their favourite band. The frenzy all started in 1983 when some talented students decided to jam together. Before first being known as Blackwood Convention, they subsequently re-named to Phish – after drummer Jon Fishman and the onomatopoetic sound "phsssss" which is issued when a snare drum is brushed. True to authentic and real music which is so appreciated by their fans, they started with playing gigs in pubs and making their own cassettes before releasing their first official and eponymous album in 1998. They are known for their skilful fusion of psychedelic rock, progressive rock and other genres as well as extended jam sessions, which are proof of their musical genius. Always climbing up the ladder of success, they soon started playing on bigger stages and their fan base grew steadily with their success. Their fourth album "Rift" was the first to make it on the Billboard 200 and fans loved the fantastic mix of sounds and concept art by David Welker. But enough of albums and past successes, instead see them live on stage and rock through the night! Grab Phish tickets now on StubHub, we’re sure it will be an event to remember.
A long awaited music reunion
Fans were definitely hard-broken when the band went separate ways between 2004 and 2008 to pursue other projects. It was surely a pity to see such a dynamic quartet leave the big stages, but thankfully, they thought so, too, and reunited in 2008 to bring more musically excellent albums to their fans, such as "Joy", which was their fourteenth album in total. If you love psychedelic and progressive rock and want to spend a night out watching one of the best bands worldwide jam live on stage, seize the opportunity and get Phish tickets now with us. You can also sell tickets here if you’ve some to spare. StubHub is also proud to offer tickets for a great variety of other artists, such as Bob Weir, Widespread Panic or Phil Lesh, to name some.
