Foster The People biography
Foster the People is a Los Angeles based indie rock band that rose from virtual obscurity to critical acclaim, seemingly overnight. The group released their debut album, Torches, in 2011. The song featured "Don't Stop (Colors on the Wall)," which was later featured in multiple television commercials, games, and film. The album's most popular single, "Pumped Up Kicks" was well-received, but not without controversy. The group's sophomore album, Supermodel, was released in 2014 and did not receive the same warm welcome as the previous album. The second album was, however, described as "different from its predecessor, but devastatingly beautiful." The group received more than a dozen music award nominations for Torches, taking home multiple wins throughout the music industry including Rock Song of the Year at the Billboard Music Awards (they were beaten to Rock Album of the Year by Coldplay). In July 2017 Foster The People released their third album Sacred Hearts Club which has been praised for its experimentation, however also criticised for not being consistent enough. No matter what the critics say, a Foster The People concert is an event not to be missed. So don't stay at home, buy Foster The People concert tickets and go wild!
