2020, the 60th anniversary of the European Football Championship

The European 2020 National teams tournament is right around the corner. The European Champioship is a soccer tournament that takes place between european national football teams for the european continental cup. This summer 24 National teams play to win the tournament in different venuers through Europe in the most important football event in the year. Which country do you support? Considered the biggest european Football event, the European Championship has suffered several transformations during its history. The first edition took place in 1960 and, since then, it takes place every 4 years. During this time, the original number of 16 participant teams, has grown to 24, the number of teams competing this year. For the 2020 edition and to celebrate its 60th anniversary, the tournament willl be hosted through all the european continent, not in just one country. The tournamente will start on the 12th of June in rome, with a final in Wembley Stadium in London on the 12th of July.

The countries that participate in this 2020's edition are: Albania, Belgium, Austria, Croatia, Czech Republich, France, England, Germany, Iceland, Hungary, Italy, Northem Ireland, Portugal, Poland, Republic o f Ireland, Russia, Romania, Slopvakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, Turkey and Wales. 

The most awaited and with winning potential for this occurence are France, Spain (La Roja), England Germany or The Netherlands, but surpsises like Portugal (2016 winner) could happen again.
