Born in California to a hugely dysfunctional family, Titus turned to comedy as part-therapy and has used his personal experiences of alcoholism, mental health, suicide, domestic abuse and custody battles to somehow create hilarious material for his loyal audiences. His name entered the public sphere in the late nineties after appearances at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival. In the noughties his story-telling material morphed into Norman Rockwell is Bleeding, his first debut solo tour and also into Titus a TV sitcom series which ran for two years and was nominated for an Emmy. His second tour The Fifth Annual End of the World Tour was televised for Comedy Central in 2007 and his third Love is Evol was televised on the same channel in 2009.
