Chris Hardwick - starting out on the path to success

Chris Hardwick's prolific presenting career began in 1993 when he went in front of the camera on MTV game show Trashed. This first venue would seal his reputation as a go-to for premium presenting talent, taking on further presenter duties in the likes of WIRED Science, Shipmates and Singled Out.
Chris Hardwick - breakthrough into the big time
Beloved as one of America's favourite voice-over artists and television hosts, Chris Hardwick would embark on a new leg of his career in the 2000s when he made a more successful move into stand-up comedy. Working alongside collaborator Mike Phirman, Hardwick was one half of Hard 'n Phirm, taking the show in front of audiences. The musical comedy act proved to be a success and more stand-up shows would follow. Some of Hardwick's material would also be used by Comedy Central in 2004, while further appearances as a stand-up comedian would follow in the likes of John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show and The Benson Interruption.
Hardwick debuted his first major stand-up venture in 2012 with the unveiling of Mandroid, a one-hour special filmed for Comedy Central. This New York show was aired on Comedy Central of that year, before being released on DVD the following year. The release proved popular with home audiences, with the DVD selling well and the digital download of the show going down incredibly well with the online generation. Although he maintains a busy schedule of commitments, it seems Hardwick is finally on board the comic gravy train.
