Brad Williams: Funsize & Daddy Issues
Williams is not to be confused with Wee Man from Jackass as he frequently is! Brad's dwarfism may be the butt of his own jokes but it by no means forms the core identity of this hugely versatile and complex comic. William's acute observational comedy touches on identity politics, sex, pop culture, current events and modern life. He shot to fame in the naughties thanks to his association with Carlos Mencia. His first solo show, Funsize, was quickly followed up by his second, Daddy Issues, both selling out and recorded for streaming platforms.
Brad Williams, born for stage
Brad Williams started out on stage post-college when he pursued a career as a performer. He got his first taste of stand up at a Carlos Mencia gig when he was brought up on stage and delivered some jokes to the audience. Mencia invited him to become his permanent warm-up act, a job he kept for many years. He most notably came into public US consciousness with his many appearances in Mind of Mencia, a sketch variety comedy show hosted by Carlos Mencia and aired on Comedy Central. During this time he made many other performances on well-known TV shows such as the Tonight Show With Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, on which he dressed as Chucky for the 2008 Halloween special.
Brad Williams has also starred in an episode of Animal Planet and has released a comedy album called Coming Up Short. He has been a regular guest on the hugely popular Kevin and Bean Show on KROQ-FM. The comic's first solo stand up show Brad Williams: Funsize was recorded for Showtime and received critical appraise. His second solo tour was just a year later, Brad Williams: Daddy Issues, which was also recorded for Showtime. In addition to his acting and stage work, he also co-presents a podcast, About Last Night along with fellow comedian and actor Adam Ray. Tickets for Brad William's current stand-up tour and future dates are available to book here at StubHub.
